Welcome to the page dedicated to Safestore / Spaces...
During 2004/5, I was in need of long term storage space for all the excessive household items that needed placing safe while building works were made at home and in view of indefinite use.
I was delighted after in-depth searches, to decide to use the services of Spaces in Reading. They later changed to "Safestore Spaces".
I was most impressed at the vast range of units that were available and for as good as anything (within reason). The fact that the environment was extremely clean and tidy and a high level of security, along with temperature controlled was most reassuring.
The facilities included at Reading Stores:

Generous height units, give you additional advantage for extra storage in the rented metre areas.

Securing your unit with your own lock ensures that only you have access to the unit. (You can nominate/register a family member or other, to have authorised access upon notifying Safestore Spaces).

24 hour access via gate keypad to your unit. (The keypad releases the alarm to your unit).

Onsite Security monitored by various cameras.

Temperature controlled atmosphere to protect your goods against damp or over heating.

Upon locking your unit and departing via the exit gate, entering your security code to the gate keypad, will reset the alarm to your unit while also allowing you to exit the area.
NB: For Health & Safety reasons, you are required to sign in at the entry office upon arrival and sign out again upon your departure.
