MAIN is registered in England and Wales as an International Non Governmental Organization.

Our aim is to promote the relief of poverty, sickness and distress of those infected and affected by HIV and AIDS so that they may lead active and fulfilling lives in society through research, education, campaigning, health promotion, working with positive people.

Since establishment, branches have been established in Malawi, United States and Botswana. More branches are yet to be established within the Network.

Volunteering

Volunteers play an essential role in providing MAIN with a diversity of skills and experience. We offer volunteer placements, training opportunities and opportunities to work with positive people as role models. As a volunteer, you will be involved in giving support and making choices for the future by empowering those affected to gain confidence and acceptance in society. Our on going training, builds a foundation to move on to services run by other Service Providers and Partnerships.

Membership

As a full member, you will receive our Annual Report, Invitations to Annual General Meetings (AGMs) and a quarterly newsletter. Further, you can apply to be on the Management Committee (Board of Trustees/Directors).
