Computers for Developing World were founded with the vision of helping people in the developing world to have access to information technology to improve their lives.

In order to fulfil this vision, Digital Links secures the donation of redundant PCs from private and public corporations in the UK, refurbishes them and provides them at low cost to schools, charities, community organisations and small enterprises in developing countries.

New technology has a high impact in developing countries, opening up new educational and economic opportunities, especially for young people. By utilizing recycled computers we can give thousands of young people affordable access to IT.

Digital Links also trains teachers in IT skills and hardware maintenance and can help in the provision of educational software. We are also always looking for creative solutions to problems that inhibit IT access in the developing world and are at the forefront of the solar and wireless technologies that can make connectivity possible in rural areas.
